It all started when I joined my church choir and was asked to play piano shortly after. I used to figure out the notes to the hymns by ear at home and write them in a little copybook I would take with me to church every Sunday. Everything was going smoothly until a flutist and clarinetist joined our choir, followed by two guitarists, and finally a violinist. The flute played the same notes I did, the clarinet required me to transpose everything by +2, the guitars played chords, and the violin preferred sheet music to hand written notes. And then the adventures began. I downloaded a sheet music writing software called musescore and scavenged the oh so well known music notes book every choir band has. However, with that and every other music website out there, I still had to write a lot of the sheet music I couldn’t find myself. In a nutshell, I decided to spare you the burden. I present to you one well organized website with over 100 frequently used Maronite hymns and the intent of constant expansion and improvement. Enjoy!
